How to Use the Study Planner
Master the four Planner tabs, Today, Focus, Weekly, and Exams, and keep the study streak that shows on your chamber leaderboard.
The Planner is your daily study base. It holds your class timetable, a focus timer, a weekly plan, and an exam countdown, and it tracks the study streak that shows up on your chamber leaderboard. Here is how each tab works and how to get the most from it.
Moving around the Planner
The Planner has four tabs: Today, Focus, Weekly, and Exams. Swipe left and right to move between them, or tap the tab names. The ring at the top changes to match the tab you are on, so you always see the number that matters right now.
Today
Today shows your schedule as a timeline, with your class lectures and your own study blocks together.
- Your class lectures appear on their own, pulled from what your class rep publishes. You do not add these.
- To add your own study block, use the add button and set a time, title, and details.
- To move a block, press and hold it, then drag it to a new time.
- To edit a block, tap it.
The ring shows how much of today you have finished, so a full ring means a finished plan.
Focus
Focus is a timer for deep work, the kind where you work in set bursts and take short breaks. Start a session and work until it ends. ChamberOS keeps your timer running even if you swipe to another tab to check tomorrow's classes, so you will not lose your place.
Use Focus to turn a vague hour of reading into a few timed sprints. Steady sessions feed your study streak.
Weekly
Weekly is your seven day plan at a glance. Tap any cell to add or edit a block for that day and time. The ring here shows how many slots you have planned across the week, so you can tell at a glance whether the week is mapped out or still empty.
Use Weekly on a Sunday to lay out the week, then let Today guide you day by day.
Exams
Exams is your countdown board. Add each exam with its date, and ChamberOS counts down the days for you.
- The nearest exam sits at the top, with the days left.
- The ring shows how many exams you have cleared out of the total.
- You can share your exam list to send it to coursemates.
Seeing the countdown early is the difference between a calm reading week and a panicked one.
Your study streak
A small flame near the top tracks your study streak, the number of days in a row you have been active. Streaks are more than a badge:
- They keep you consistent, which is the real win.
- They feed the study leaderboard in your chambers, so steady effort gets noticed by your coursemates.
Keep the streak alive by doing something each day: finishing a block, running a Focus session, or planning the week.
Today's lectures on your home screen
Your lectures also show up outside the Planner. A short Today's Lectures strip appears so you can see your next classes without opening the full week, and it links straight back into the Planner.
Tips
- Plan the week on Weekly, then work the day on Today.
- Use Focus for anything that needs real concentration, and let the sessions build your streak.
- Add your exams the moment you know the dates, so the countdown works for you.
- If your class timetable looks empty, your class rep may not have added it yet.
